Fox News reports: "In the first major step to revive his health care agenda after his party's loss of a filibuster-proof Senate majority, President Barack Obama on Sunday invited Republican and Democratic leaders to discuss possible compromises in a televised gathering later this month."

  1. I'm with neekle. While obviously everybody should support collaboration, in this case it'll just be another word for 'pork.'

    How can there be a compromise between the two parties when ultimately their stances on the issue are incompatible.
  2. Sounds like a good idea, but too bad it isn't. Any additional power/money given to the government on the health front will be countered by the GOP. And if not, they'll "compromise" by adding their pork to the project.
