Kick-Ass director confirms greenlight for sequel

Director Mark Millar of Kick-Ass recently had an interview on BBC Radio where he stated that given the strong DVD sales of the original graphic novel adaptation, the studios have given him the greenlight to proceed with making a second.  Good news for us comic nerds!  Perhaps we'll be seeing Scott Pilgram vs the World do the same thing once that title makes it to DVD.

Received news that these guys are releasing a new album later in the year - hopefully that means they'll be coming to Atlanta shortly thereafter.

Blink-182 to record new album after current tour

Speaking with NME after their recent headlining performance
at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, the members of Blink-182 confirmed that they will be working on a new album once their current tour obligations are through.  The band, which has been reunited since drummer Travis Barker survived a horrendous plane crash back in 2008, has not released any information regarding the potential release of the album.  Glad to see the guys are in a better place as a band, again.  While I haven't been a huge fan of their most recent releases, the band will always hold a place in my heart given their popularity while I was in high school.

One day closer to DragonCon.  Caaan't wait.  We also may be sending coverage to the Uproar Festival this year.  Exciting!  And these guys are coming to Atlanta later in September. Whoop!
