Morning Music Bootleg Written by Steven Kowalski    Thursday, 29 July 2010 07:45 The weekend is almost here, whooooooop!   1 Comment Judge blocks parts of controversial Arizona immigration law Written by Steven Kowalski    Wednesday, 28 July 2010 13:35 Federal U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton blocked several parts of the controversial Arizona immigration bill today, mere hours before the law was meant to take effect.  The law, which was passed earlier this year, requires immigrants to carry papers at all times to verify their legal status.  According to Judge Bolton, "Requiring Arizona law enforcement officials and agencies to determine the immigration status of every person who is arrested burdens lawfully-present aliens because their liberty will be restricted while their status is checked."  The judge also struck down the portion of the law disallowing illegal immigrations from openly soliciting work in public.  At the end of the day, this whole issue of immigration can be settled by simply loosening the restrictions to become a legal resident.  Seriously, this is just silly.  Weren't we at one time a country of immigrants?
