 According to sources, President Barack Obama will be announcing that August 31 will be the end to the United States' combat mission in Iraq. From exerts of the speech, Obama will announce, "Shortly after taking office, I announced our new strategy for Iraq and for a transition to full Iraqi responsibility." It should also be noted that the president plans on ordering a reduction in the amount of troops from the present number of 65,000 to 50,000 come September 1. Since the start of the war in 2003, 4,413 troops have been killed in Iraq. Big move... thoughts? |

Good news still rolling in from the Comic-Con front with news that the boys from MythBusters have been booked for an additional 7 seasons. According to the two hosts, they plan on doing more episodes addressing super-hero powers and other various comic book themes. "There's a lot of ways in which comic books look at physics that are ripe for testing," host Adam Savage said. "So while superheroes have provided a lot of material so far, we're by no means done with that." Sounds great - can't wait to see the results. Nerds rejoice! |

These dudes put on a great show at Mayhem Fest last night here in Atlanta. As my buddy Metal Mark exclaimed after the show, they were definitely the real headliners.
