January Jones set to play Emma Frost in upcoming 'X-Men: First Class' Written by Steven Kowalski    Wednesday, 18 August 2010 10:33 A whole wave of 'X-Men: First Class' casting news came out today courtesy of Deadline.  Of the bigger announcements, it's been confirmed that Mad Men star January Jones will be playing a young Emma Frost, the sextacular psychic-powered mutant.  According to the article, "Director Matthew Vaughn has set Zoe Kravitz to play Angel; Jason Flemyng will play Azazel, the father of Nightcrawler; Bill Milner to play the young version of Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and Morgan Lily to play the Young Raven. They join Fassbender, James McAvoy (Xavier), Nicholas Hoult (Beast) Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Caleb Landry Jones (Banshee), Lucas Till (Havoc), Edi Gathegi  (Darwin), who round out the mutant contingent."  I swear, every time I hear of a new casting announcement, I become a little less excited about the project.  I'm also a bit confused as to how Zoe Kravitz - daughter of rockstar Lenny Kravitz - will be playing the role of Angel, who was a man in the previous X-Men film.    2 Comments Pink Floyd albums removed from iTunes after record contract expires Written by Steven Kowalski    Wednesday, 18 August 2010 08:41 The fine lads from Pink Floyd are pulling several of their albums from iTunes and other digital music retails following the expiration of a contract with their former label, EMI.  According to AppleInsider, "Pink Floyd has won a lawsuit against EMI in March, allowing it to block the sale of individual songs on services like iTunes."  Luckily, it's still possible to download several of the albums through the mega-boxset "Oh By the Way."  I don't blame the guys for blocking the sale of single tracks... it takes away from the whole album experience.
